The FOI project involved creating a visually appealing and highly functional WordPress site with extensive custom code enhancements to improve Elementor widgets. The site was designed to be user-friendly, offering a wealth of valuable information and smooth navigation. Key functionalities include “Add to Cart” buttons that guide users toward booking courses with ease.
One of the standout features is the “Therapeutenfinder,” a directory for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, based on postal codes. A custom plugin was developed using Custom Post Types (CPT) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to display exact matches and nearby postal codes, all facilitated through Elementor’s search functionality. The complexity arose from the similar postal codes across the three countries, which required distinct functionalities to ensure accurate results.
